Just wanna share my experience with the problems and codes i had before: P0102, P0113, P0172, P0037, P0335 and P2109. Glad i bought the scangauge, its really a useful gadget to have with :)
My 1st problem was the CAT, due i never redline my car for 10 months. Finally the Dooms day result came out which cause the RPM won’t pass 4000 so i can feel no power at all. Finally checked the CAT and found out its really busted. So just gutted it to the end which fix the problem with great fume lol. I got CEL P0172 and P0037 since running it with busted CAT and foul o2 rear sensor, then i got another CEL P0335 which seldom came On and Off. I never fix it because i knew there’s nothing wrong with eccentric shaft since it seldom came On and Off. Now everything seem back to normal when i change the busted CAT and o2 rear sensor, no more CEL :)
Then my 2nd and most stupid and annoying problem was the MAF sensor wire, which cause the car hard to start, and if it does, it die simultaneously when i try to change the gear. I thought it was the MAF sensor since i got the code P0102 and P0113, so i bought the new one and the result still the same. Finally found out the real cause was the MAF sensor wire (i recall someone had pulled the wire not the connector before) as you can see in the pic. Fix the wire and no more CEL :)

The last CEL ( hopefully lol ) was P2109, regards to throttle body. Just follow auzoom thread - Thanks :) http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=131647&highlight=throttle+body which seem the cause of it and i’m glad had cleaned it because i had problem with idle too(drop below 750 at traffic or at any stop). No more problem with the idle and no more CEL until now :)
