can anyone tell me where the wires for the reverse lights start and where do they go thru to get to the reverse lights themselves?

I want to make a small LED light that comes on when the reverse lights come on to let me know i've actually found the damn gear, I have trouble stalling the car sometimes because I think I have reverse and have 6th instead
