I'm thinking of ordering up the black ones with RX-8. Did you have to give Canzoomer your SS# to get the item shipped to you? mikeb 11-14-2003, 12:14 PM I dont recall, I belive so KC_RX-8 11-14-2003, 12:52 PM BEAUTIFUL!!!! Have to hold-off on discretionary spending though, $140 is above my budget these days. my10ae 11-14-2003, 01:47 PM Mike and Huhsler: Yup the black piano one with the RX-8 logo on it is what I was talking about. I gonna order up a set real soon. Not to big on gving out my SS# though  DrKillJoY 11-14-2003, 02:11 PM nice pillars... WTF would anyone need your SS# to process a order sounds very fishy to me. I would want to see a privacy policy in writing. XDEEDUBBX 11-14-2003, 02:40 PM looks clean mike..is that CF look? or genuine CF? mikeb 11-14-2003, 02:41 PM its real carbon fiber ninedeep 11-14-2003, 02:44 PM That looks good! How do you like the look of the carbon fiber? ninedeep 11-14-2003, 02:45 PM My question came to late...sorry.:D RX-MEN-8 11-14-2003, 03:03 PM They look great!! A new thing to add to my X-mas list.. I suggest not giving your SS# to anyone.. Most agencies are now going away from that. My Health insurance company, and even The university of Florida are now having to comply with HIPPA new standards for privacy! my10ae 11-14-2003, 03:28 PM Thanks RX-Men-8. I thought it sounded kinda fishy. I asked Canzoomer about it and he says it has to do with the customs at the US border. I had him process my order WITHOUT my SS#, so we'll see how it pans out. FYI, CanZoomer is in Canada. When he ships to a US address, US Customs requires a US recipient's SSN or tax ID. Omicron 11-14-2003, 07:41 PM Originally posted by DrKillJoY nice pillars... He's just doing the RX-8 stuff on the side, because there's such a demand for parts and products. He's as legit as they come. That's a great way for terrorists to get hold of American ID's they can use! Especially those Canadian terrorists who want to return the USA to England and bring King George back to make us do stupid things and have all our friends laugh at us! Oh - too late, we did it ourselves! Nevermind, canzoomer can have my SS#. :D :D :D my10ae 12-04-2003, 09:27 PM OK... at the risk of sounding like a dumbass...how hard is it to install the B pillars? I got my RX-8 set from Maurice (thanks!) today and was wondering if there are any tricks to installing them? The instructions are all in Japanese. Can anyone help? mikeb 12-05-2003, 02:07 AM just pull the back cover off and stick them on you can wipe the pillar down first so their is no dirt but thats it post pics when done please Kev 12-05-2003, 02:35 AM CAUTION!!! Don't press hard with your fingers on the piano black b-pillar garnish, you'll leave dents in it. Use something flat. EVORINC 12-22-2003, 08:25 PM So MS ones are real carbon fiber. Nice. jodynich 12-22-2003, 11:35 PM anyone got pics of these on a titanium? brothervoodoo 12-22-2003, 11:42 PM Originally posted by jodynich anyone got pics of these on a titanium? I'm seriously thinking about the piano black and the wheel centers.. flyboyindy 12-23-2003, 12:17 AM Just be very careful to get them on straight the first time... They dont want to come off once they are stuck on. The instructions say to use a masking tape template. These really finish off the car! All I need to do now is get my Aero Kit so I can be like Mike-B EVORINC 12-23-2003, 02:29 AM Ours. success07 12-24-2003, 09:01 AM Are the B pillar add-ons thin enough that they don't stick out from the car? They look great from what I can see but am just concerned that they won't look like a stock piece but yet a after-thought stick on. Can any one get an angled picture on that for me in the daylight or just a rough estimation of it's looks? Thank you. mikeb 12-24-2003, 12:24 PM Originally posted by success07 Are the B pillar add-ons thin enough that they don't stick out from the car? Please post pics! I too have been considering the Piano Black for my Black RX-8. I "think" it would look so classy. mikeb 01-07-2004, 01:46 PM sorry i dont have any install pics all you do is peel the back plastic strip off and stick them on. my10ae 01-07-2004, 02:08 PM Qhris: It's been WAY too cold here in NH to put these on. I was going to do them this spring when the weather gets a little warmer. Sorry... CCJ 01-07-2004, 02:13 PM No problem - it gives me something to look foward to in addition to the spring thaw! :) |
