K so i was just at my local exhaust shop today and i had a chat with the owner about the whole ripping out of the cat process, and he said removing the cat on a car like an RX-8 would only make for big issues down the road having to do with my cars computer...

iv really been looking into getting a test pipe or the mazsport dual res pipe, but now after talking to the owner of the shop im kinda having second thoughts...

like is the guy just on crack? Or whats the deal with replacing your cat???

 

your car will throw a CEL for the missing cat, but it won't mess anything up.

Get the AccessPort, which can mask the CEL out so it doesn't show up.

 

No problem going catless, I have a test pipe you could try out if you like......
