I miss the SoCal RX club's annual cruise. Started in Thousand Oaks, drove up the coast all the way to Solvang for lunch and then you had a great drive back.

I would love to do this but I"m sure most people will come in here and cry about the price of gasoline.

 

AHHHHHHHH gas prices!!!!! j/m...i would be interested, i still havent tooken a "long drive" in my 8

 

A car is meant to be driven is my theory... **** happens.... Possums fly into your radiator like crazy suicide bombers(according to Dozer :D) but its the fun of driving.

Jedi if you want to set that up I am SOOOO down... we just need to make sure we have gas stations on the way there lolol.... its not the price to me its the amount of times we would have to fill up.

 

not to hijack this but the SoCal cruise is usually in the early summer months. I'll check with them to see if they're planning a trip this year.
If not, then this would be tons of fun!!!

If we go with this option, I'm probably not the man to organize it as I've got a ton of things on my plate right now and I'm not too familiar with roads that we'd want to take. I'll definitely help you guys raise interest in this though.

then a couple of brewskeez at my house....that is if were coming down from la to HB we make a left on goldenwest and a right on mcfadden then some lights down is my hood....i got a fridge in my garage thatll keep the beer fresh and i got a lil grill that we can use to make some carne asada!!! i will be busy in june, and gone on a curse in july.

so the best time for me would be in august.

ill set up a date and a good place drive and meet up!
