So I was about to buy the AFE SS and then I remembered that when I bought the car a year ago, the stock shifter was in the glovebox.

I looked at the one in my car now and it's silver. I know the stock ones are black so I was just wondering if what I have is definently the AFE or do stock shifters come in silver too? Shift feel is nice but I'm not sure what it feels like over stock.

put the black shifter in, drive around for a day. The difference between RP's and stock is like night and day.

Are you sure you're not confused between a shift knob and a short shifter?

i bought the car thinking the stock shifter was installed when it was really the AFE. i just wish i knew someone with an 8 so I could've felt the difference.

But thanks for the help because now I have 260 to spend on the RB Flywheel
