Pie FTW..Anyone can make a good cake by following directions on a box, but actually making a good pie is an art. hmmm that reminds me....blackberries will be available soon! Nothing like going out spending the day with the kiddies picking blackberries, making sure you take home more than you eat, and then making them into a cobbler! YUM!

But in the end pie is by far superior. Cake is basically only for dessert, but lets think about pie. It can be used as a whole meal. For the main course we have Sheppards pie. Meat, potato's, spices, Desert...Pumpkin, peach, pecan...and for your late night snack, the ever lovable Poontang Pie! The only thing pie can't do is wash my car...but in every other way it is far superior to cake! And lets not quote Marie Antoinette. The reason behind this is that she found out that the people living under her at the time couldn't afford to eat bread, so her answer was for them to eat cake. Yes this is such a great idea... As you should be! Even though Beef cake is nutricious and delicious, the power of pie will overcome anything. Just remember in life the only absolute language is math. One of the important parts of math is PI. With measurements with circles we need Pi to help. I don't see cake breaking the boundries of food to become such a useful tool in life.
