I read in the paper today that some 19 year old stole a car and was side-swiping people on I-25 southbound between Denver and Colorado Springs. Fortunately, he must have been ahead of us and we weren't one of the people he hit. Unfortunately, he was ahead of us and we were stuck in traffic (police closed the freeway). It took about 45 minutes to go 1 mile to the exit. Fun huh?
Anyway, as we were inching along, there was a new (2002?) Mercury Cougar that we kept seeing in the lane next to us. It looked pretty sporty and was much smaller than the old Mercury Cougars. As my mind was wandering in traffic, I began to wonder how it's dimensions compared with the rx-8. Interestingly enough, it has almost the exact same width, height and wheelbase as the rx-8 will have.

I started wondering if I have the willpower to wait for the S-plan pricing on the Rx-8. Anyone else here have rx-8 thoughts running through their head while stuck in traffic recently? :)
