mental pimp 11-10-2003, 05:42 PM download the demo for Need For Speed Underground for PC and try it, or wait a bit longer and get R: Racing Evolution or get a ps2 and get the best game in the world Gran Turismo 4 :)
neit_jnf 11-10-2003, 06:31 PM I have a Gamecube an sooo many games I barely have time to play!! I recommend Mario Kart, then get Need for Speed after you save a little. There are also some other great racers like Burnout 2, XGRA, FZero etc. Which games you have? I'll list mine if you're interested

RotaryStalker 11-10-2003, 10:16 PM Strip Poker

i'm currently playing Final Fantasy XI for the PC...but i've tried SSX3 (an extreme snowboarding game) and it's REALLY REALLY GOOD...it's out for the GameCube, PS2, and XBox...i suggest getting that one
RX-GR8 11-10-2003, 11:35 PM i have xbox and halo is good. right now i'm trying to get through splinter cell.
Shocka 11-11-2003, 10:05 AM For Gamecub i have
Def Jam Vendetta
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
Mario party 4
Blitz 2002?? not the newest one
thats it havnt bought a game in a long time
Genom 11-11-2003, 01:12 PM Viewtiful Joe is the bomb. The new LOTR:ROTK for Xbox or PC is pretty fun too, although a bit hard at times. NFS: Underground looks good, demo is fun. A forum member's 7 was used for all the game samples for the 7 so it should sound pretty awesome.
F-Zero GX is also fun, if a bit simplistic at times with lots of players. Singleplayer is kinda tedious
mental pimp 11-11-2003, 01:19 PM i just finished playing Need For Speed Underground for PC and i wasnt very impressed by the handling, its hard to handle the cars wit a keyboard, hopefully it would be better on gamecube
Astor 11-11-2003, 02:04 PM you could get an adult console like the Xbox (better graphics and you can run Linux on it), or up your pc to play games as they're meant to be played.(PC games blow away all the consoles) Need for Speed Underground is really fun, provided you have a decent PC and Video Card, a large monitor, and a steering wheel with pedals. Then do all the things you would never do in your own car.

Well, some people don't want to spend $2000 just to play need for speed :) Really though, this isn't the thread to debate console vs. PC gaming. You could create a separate one if you feel so strongly about it :)
mental pimp 11-11-2003, 03:08 PM wat the hell, the 350z is the only car that u can play wit in the demo, that sucks
Shocka 11-11-2003, 03:47 PM well i decided to get NFS Underground. i will order it today.
Astor, i work on a computer WHOLE DAY when i wanna relax last thing i want is a computer. I like the distance u get with a game system.
plus its alot more fun to play gamecube with my friends then pc games. which is the reason i was considering Mario Kart
neit_jnf 11-11-2003, 07:54 PM I have an ATARI JAGUAR 64 Bit with 5 great games, anybody heard of it?
Also have a NINTENDO 64 with too many games
Gameboy Advance with Afterburner internal light, Gameboy Advance SP and Gameboy Player for the Gamecube. Again, too many games
Platinum Gamecube with:
Batman Vengeance
Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Ikaruga
Metroid Prime
Pikmin
Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
Star Wars Bounty Hunter
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II Rogue Leader
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III Rebel Strike
Super Mario Sunshine
Time Splitters 2
Tetris Worlds
Wave Race Blue Storm
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Master Quest
The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker
Have any of you played Eternal Darkness or the updated and improved Resident Evils? Who says Gamecube is not an adult console?
And if you wanna talk graphics, just take a look at any of the above games
:D
I'm planning on getting Mario Kart, it will be a blast with its 8 players capabilities!! (2 gamecubes with broadband adapter, 2 games, 2 tvs or if you can find them 8 of each) :D :D :D
mental pimp 11-11-2003, 08:32 PM i got a platinum gamecube also, but the color on my controler in going away :(
neit_jnf 11-12-2003, 08:14 AM My platinum controller is still in the box!! I bought the wireless wavebird controller at the same time as the Gamecube. It's so incredibly cool and confortable being able to be anywhere and have no cables!!

I was just kidding with you, really, I work on a computer all day as well, I'm in IT (believe me my eyes burn too).
I just used my video card out to the HDTV to play at higher resolutions. Mario Cart is a fun game, but I think you made a better choice.:D My Xbox actually just collects dust. I liked Splinter Cell, and I liked Tony Hawk, but I like 1st person shooters best and the controls on consoles don't seem to be as accurate as the keyboard and trackball. Plus I have the MS FF Steering wheel and this was the 1st game I actually enjoyed it. (xmas present)
Genom 11-12-2003, 11:20 AM I hope the RX-8 in Project Gotham 2 is cool :D
mental pimp 11-12-2003, 02:09 PM i heard it sucks^
Turbo Matty P 11-12-2003, 03:09 PM GCN all the way!! My resume to verify my ability to choose a good game.
Lead tester for "The Tick" on Sega Genesis
Manager of Multi-million dollar video game retail store for 3 years.

Ikaruga
Mario party 5
Star Wars Rouge Squadron 2

I'm sure there are more, but the escape me at this point. I must own over 200 different video games at any given time.
