...And on the seventh day He rested from all the work that He had done. Then He decided to go for a drive.
Onto a brand new road, winding through four day old mountains, under a three day old sun, He drove. Breath, as His creatures breathed. Light and darkness, as His sun rose and set. Intake, compression, power, exhaust ever repeated. Suspension unloads over a rise, reloads in time for a third to second downshift before a tight, decreasing radius, off camber right hander. Hard throttle to redline out of the curve, upshift, sandled foot back to the floor...
and then, in the middle of a long left hand sweeper come the raptures of throttle steering into a controlled four wheel drift accompanied by the angelic chorus of howling rubber, screaming intake, thundering exhaust.
And He saw that it was good.
- Genesis as modified by jbebernes
There is no greater sin than desire,
No greater curse than discontent,
No greater misfortune than wanting something for oneself.
Therefore, he who knows that enough is enough will always have enough.
Tao Te Ching, Chapter 46
And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid, for behold, I bring to you tidings of great joy which will come to all the people; for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord"
- Luke 1:10 - 11 (and Linus)
Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday!!!
