INDIANAPOLIS—A 90-year-old woman accidentally backed into a McDonald's restaurant, disrupting a bingo game and sending a couple to the hospital with minor injuries.

more stories like thisLois Weber told police one of her tennis shoes became stuck under the gas pedal on her 2004 Cadillac, causing her to lose control and back into the restaurant Wednesday. She said she recently changed shoe brands and was not used to the wider fit.

No tickets were issued. Weber, who has a valid driver's license, was able to drive her car home.

Police said the car crashed into a wall and window of the restaurant in the Broad Ripple neighborhood on the north side of the city. The car pushed John Atkinson, 80, and his wife Beverly, 75, both of Indianapolis, who were playing bingo.

The couple suffered cuts on their hands from broken glass.

You get pulled over for having a nice car that "looks fishy", yet you get zilch for driving into a restaurant. Sweet!

If her foot was under the gas pedal how did she accelerate backwards? Did it idle backwards with that much thrust? lol

I cant wait until I'm old.

"sir, do you know how fast you were driving"

"why no sonny, I'm OLD!"

"you were doing 135 in a 65"

"Oh my! I had no idea, I cant see the speedo very well with my bad eyes. It's because I'm OLD."

"I see. Well don't do it again then"

"of course not sonny, sorry to trouble you"

*insert sound of me peeling out*

A couple months ago some old lady drove into a quilt shop (sells quilting fabric and supplies), of which I know the owner. The lady allegedly claims she was backing up, but the car wouldn't go so she gave it more gas. It jumped over the concrete thingy at the front of the parking space, as well as the curb in front of that. Then drove in through the front windows, ran down some displays, adn drove up on top of hte checkout/fabric cutting counter, which was in the middle of the store (not a tiny store either). The truck was fully in the store and then some. The counter had tire marks all over it and when she was in there and half up on the counter she was still trying to drive and so her tires were spinning leaving marks all over everything. The owner and one of her employees got hurt pretty bad. The owner broke her hip and had cuts and stuff. The other one was hurt worse, but I'm not sure to what extent.

According to what I heard, the lady just acted annoyed that the whole thing happened, like it was no big deal. As of yet she wasn't ticket or had her license taken away or anything!

I am surprise that she had survived to be that old after eating at McDonalds!

If her driving doesn't kill her, those Happy Meals might!
