Hi, Im having a problem with my A/C temperature control but my car is out of warranty so they wont cover it.

Therefore I need an AC amplifier module if any of you guys have an extra or willing to part out. The location of the module is stated in the link below.

I also need some small interior parts.
- Driver side center silver trim.
- A plastic cover for the extra buttons, beside the fog light switch and Traction.
- The plastic rubber that goes around the door frame. Right below the RX8 door sills

You might wish to try forum vendor Mazmart. Did you ask what a dealer wanted $$$ for a new one?

 

Well my dealer told me to replace the air filter first. And see if its fix the problem. I will replace my filter soon and check with Mazmart for the parts. Thanks for the advice though

 

dude, i just had the same problem. My heat stopped working in the middle of the winter, and my windows started foggin up like crazy. Went to the dealer and found out that my warranty expired two months prior, so basically i was screwed. I read on the forum that it was due to the heater control and maybe the ac amplifier. Luckily i was able to find these parts from someone on the forum. I should be gettin them soon. Hopefully this will fix everything

 

yeah my car is out of warranty too last month. And they dont want to cover it (TT). You r lucky you can found somebody that willing to sell you one. I havent found any other than mazmart.
