Just read an article on MSN about the Deadliest cars of all time. They are the Chevy Camaro, Corvette, Ford Mustang, and Firebird. No Pinto or Corvair, just American muscle. They said it was because those cars offered a high HP to dollar ratio, and therefor lured younger, less experienced drivers. I think it's because they handled like sh*t and only more experienced drivers could keep them under control!

Its also this the Mustang use the same Fairlane chassie for close to 40 years. The F bodies or Camero/bird handeled better but was bigger so it wallowed because of the extra weight. Yea I've gotten plenty of flack from stang owners for not looking in their words a real car. Well a real car to me is a jack of all trade master of none. ie does everything good unlike these straight line bozos.

I think the pinto is more dangerous, because you would still have young people buying it, stopping short and getting blown up.

oh man, me and my camaro have been through many a thing in the past few days...

i almost hit 2 cars on the anniersary of my last accident... but other than that, the car has served me very well. she hasn't broken down, with exception for the usual wear and tear on a 10+ year old car, and has been very dependable...

... that or maybe i just kick so much ass at driving :D :p

Although there was a design defect with the cars, the results were blown out of proportion (no pun intended) by the media and people blabbing about stuff they don't know the whole story about.

My vote goes to the Pontiac Aztek. I'd sacrifice my car just to total one of those things. Truly one of the most horrific looking cars I've ever seen. If I owned one I'd be afraid to drive in the city for fear of being shot at.

not to mention the problem with bear attacks associated with the aztek. Bears just tear through that pop up tent that comes out of the trunk
