Hey guys. My headlights have a almost dirty look like a yellow tint to them. I have cleaned them throughly on the outside, but I guess it is in the inside. What can I do to clear that up? Do I have to buy new ones? Also you know that little chrome plate that says RX-8 on the door frame on the floor next to the seat? What is that called? I have one missing and would like to buy another, is there a place that sells them?

for your headlight, get some of this and follow the directions. it works pretty well for it's cost.

Thanks man. Does that stuff for the headlights work well? Also that will get the dingy look off the inside as well, or do I need to remove the headlight and do it? and if so how hard is that?

There is a TSB for the insides of the headlights getting cloudy. I had mine replaced under warranty a couple years ago. You might check that out.

try going to the dealership and have it replaced. i got mine replaced because of the same thing. it's not condensation but some form of discoloration on the inside of the housing. mine still has warranty.

Thanks guys, I used the Plastex and it looks much better. I might sand them down a little and redo it to make it look atlittle better. But much nicer.

If polishing the exterior does not work, I think youll have to replace.
