Hello out there, just thought I'd share some pics we took last weekend in Iowa. We were on the rooftop of a parking garage in downtown Cedar Rapids. I thought the pics turned out pretty good, but we need to find some more colors intown to get the full spectrum, hehe.

Wow, thanks guys! I make no claim to be a professional photographer, so don't hold back on what I did wrong. I'd like to learn and get better so any criticism is welcome.

Seeing an HDR picture would put the last bit of topping on the cake. Some REAL snazzy pictures. The only crique I can think of is the very last picture, with the 'old time film' Filter...just doesn't sit well. I can't really put my finger on it, though I think it's the reflections on the cars. Not much you can do about it, really, but I still think they are all REALLY great pictures.

These are all sort of HDR, they were all multiple exposures mixed together but I don't have the Photomatix plugin and I'm still trying to learn how to create a really good HDR stylized pic without it. The last pic doesn't really fit in with the others, I just thought that the buildings in the background looked like they were still trapped in the 40's or something. :) I have a few more pics to work on and I'll probably make more versions of these, I'll post some more later as I get them done.

Thanks! The camera actually belongs to my work, but I should be able to borrow it that weekend. Do we have all of the colors yet for the meet? I don't think there are any Shinkas coming. Oh, and I don't think we have a yellow coming either.

Hey, don't think that get's you off the hook, the more the merrier! We need to have more Iowa meets. We're all going to the one in Omaha on the 19th, but we should also try to set up a casual meet here too every once and a while.
