I know this is a little off topic but I just noticed a little smoke coming out of the tailpipe on my wife’s Millenia S. I think it’s time to look for ea new car for her.
I know the Mazda6 has been out in Europe for some time now and want to ask some of our European Buddies if they have heard anything negative or bad about the 6 or if there have been any recalls. Any info you have that you can share will be greatly appreciated
Thanks:p

Well the Europe ones use Mazda power while the States use a Duratec 3.0 liter block with Mazda VCT heads so the reliability should be there. No problems from one guy that bought one with Perf. package with V6. and had it for 1 month now with 1500 miles.

You can get the 2.3L engine used in Europe in the US version as well, not just the 3.0L V6. However, the North American 6s are built in Michigan whereas the european ones are built in Japan.

Go here for lots of owner experiences with the new 6:

I know but some ppl are complaining about lack of power out of the I4 so if you can afford the V6 might as well get the V6. But in all honesty the 2.3 is going to be the demon engine as Fords thinking of bringing an AWD version Focus over with a Turbo on this engine pumping out 225 HP and about 200 or more torque.
As a 04 SVT model:)
