I'm in the same boat, most FJs I do not like, but that edition adds the muscle. I'd die if my cars were left outside all the time.

there are several reasons why i liked the fj...i was contemplating the purchase, for awhile actually ...but when i found out they were coming out with the TT (trail team edition) and all the features it had, they kinda put me over the top...

i dont wanna list all the features and specs of the TT so heres a link to the site:

the factory sound system is pretty decent....OEM sub in the back..
it was a hr drive on the way home from the dealer on the highway...relatively quiet for those tires and very comfy i might add..

the dealer also thru in the C7 package which is the roof rack, trailer hitch and spare tire cover at no additional cost...

its an AT....the smaller shifter is for the transfer case....2H 4H and 4L
2 high, 4 high and 4 low...

The white color and black rims actually make the FJ look nice. Dunno must be the combo but I've seen the Yellow ones and I just wanna say "Look a life sized Matchbox car!". So come on Shinka.. whats the first mod you have planned???? haha

i will definitely be doin some mods....have some other financial committments to take care of first..

1. have to unload the tribeca..
2. my baby graduates from drexel in june and wants an 08 STI..so i told him i would help with the down payment as a grad gift

the list of possibles:

1. replace the oem HU with a combo DVD w/Nav
2. upgrade the oem Sub
3 upgrade the suspension with a 3in lift
4. tint the rest of the windows
5. black out tail lights
6. TRD CAI
7. brush guard
8. TRD supercharger - w00t!!

so far :D:

PS...no carbon fiber for this baby...shes gonna be mostly go (where no man has gone before)

this model is a new release...called the "trail team edition"

all other FJs come with a white roof, rest of the body is one of the factory colors..ie brick, beige, silver, yellow, blue...

the TT edition comes in only one color ICEBERG white

As soon as the FJ came out, it reminded me of an off-road red-headed step-child of the 8. (suicide doors, 6-speed manual, 238ish HP)

Some have a 6-speed with a very potent V-6 and are no slouch on the road.

The all-black and all white are definitely the way to go.

Nice compliment to the 8.
