NgoRX8 04-04-2008, 05:18 PM a solution if you can alter your computer files. courtesy of MM. Click on the "Start" button on your task bar. Choose "Search" from the list. Select "All Files and Folders" and type "hosts" (without the quotes) in the box, select Local Disk C: from the "Look In" menu and hit "Search". When the Hosts file shows up, double-click on it and select NotePad when it asks you to choose a program to open it. Once it is open, add this line to the very end of the file: 0.0.0.0 ad.doubleclick.net Save the file, close and reopen your browser and, Voilá! No more banners. did this and no banners in IE, FireFox, or Safari.
