I am thinking about trying to recirculate my BOV and I am looking for ideas on how to attach a 1" silicone hose to the silicone 90 that is between my MAF and my turbo in this picture. I would like as little of an airflow restriction as possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and links to the parts would be even better. Thanks!!!

thats tough. Ive heard people tapping right into the Silicone.... but I dont know how solid that is. especially with a 1" hose.....

hmm, good question.

not much space there, but you might be able to squeeze in a metal 90 elbow and tap into that...

if not, you might also be able to get a one off made that has a 90 elbow coupler with a 1" hose coming out of it. my friend with an audi s4 has silicone hoses that look like that.

I would first flip the BOV around 180 degrees so it's facing the back of the engine compartment. The SSV is held in place with a PITA snap ring so that's easy enough to do, you don't have to worry about bolts lining up and such.

Then a metal pipe like Jason suggested would probably be the best bet.

and ceramic coat those pipes...

today I'm going to try out the duplicolor spray paints that have ceramic in it. Ceramic paint and ceramic enamel .. worse case I wasted $15 for 3 cans of the stuff.

but it gets the job done. :)

I would really look into a 90 degree silicone hose with a 1" tapping on it. Im sure somebody makes one.

So cut the hole, insert the fitting from the inside, screw down the collar, then you can attach some hose to the threaded nipple.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have something similar to what Static suggested but it will be a while before I get to install anything. Take a look...
