On the way home from work today, I ran into the local QT and on the way out the door, I hear a bang. I looked up to see who the poor bastard was that got hit and realized I was the poor bastard. I don't know how much you can see from the pics I posted but the rear 1/4 panel and the entire rear piece that wraps around the bumper will need to be replaced. He hit it where the 2 panels meet just behind the rear tire. THIS SUCKS!!!!!

Yes....I have already contacted his insurance agent and father. The kid was 16 or 17.

My silver RX8 was hit on four of the five panels of the left side -- the 80 year old lady's Caddy DeVille just sort of scraped along. The lesson I learned is to spend time at the front end researching body shops (unless you're lucky enough to know a great one already). Instead, I spent endless return trips to remedy overspray, poor alignment, stone shields forgotten, etc. And this is at my selling dealer's shop! I just got it back after another week which was supposed to bring it up to snuff. Still a couple of shields "on order," but otherwise it looks about the way it should have the first time. Of course, her insurance company paid the $3,500, and as a goodwill offering the shop threw in a free detailing that I will use next Spring.
Good luck.

I was really worried when I saw the first picture. I thought your car was on its' side.

My car's had two "minors". Each time it's been repaired, I get it a little present ... same with it going in for a service. Sometimes I just buy it a present because a month has gone by.

Since I drove it away from the dealer, I've added rear aero, front air damn (sprayed but not fitting it till I fix the driveway!), exhaust finishers, MP3 deck, b-pillar garnish, piano black door handle bezels and rotary valve caps.

This works for me! :D

I assume you're dealling with his agent and father because you had to kill the kid. ;)
