How do you unflood the engine? I don't want to take it to the garage! Last time I leave my keys with anyone!!!:banghead:

Get it up to 15mph, drop it into second and pop the clutch (with key turned to "on") For an AT, or if you didn't park on a hill, you can follow the factory deflood instructions in your manual. Just remember not to crank the engine for longer then recommended unless you want to risk burning up your starter motor/ kill your battery. Some people who have not had luck with the factory deflood instructions have had better luck by pulling the fuel pump relay. If it's been sitting a while, you may want to consider new spark plugs too |
