From what the pics look like #2-4, it looks to be an electrical fire started in the trunk, probably due to and audio amplifier improperly fused.

You might be right. it looks like the trunk is open.

Notice the headligts are still on. The fuel lines and tank are plastic on this car. I saw a ford tarus with a severed fuel line from the tire slinging road debris up.
