there are 96 cars registered already. it was 89 yesterday when i call ray, but he still didn't want to register yet!? so, i don't think ray is going to sign up, just like last event!!

Ok, I'm in white too. That's cool. How much track experience does everyone here have? I've been doing it for 2-3 years now, I usually run in blue/black but at BW I end up being the slow car so white is usually fine.

White and this will be my first track day.

White, my first track day as well, if go cart does not count.lol

Boooooooooooo... The blue group is full so I wont be registering.. I have had many track days so the white group wouldnt be a good fit for me...

Hopefully i'll see you guys at Ca. Speedway in May. I'll make sure to register early for that one..

Your user name must be a b* to type in......

They'll bump you up if you're fast so starting in the white group doesn't mean you'll stay in the white group the entire day.

i think i will stick with white for a while.

i'm running white, second time on track. i think for buttonwillow the rx8s will be one of the slowest cars (maybe not sammy's) but yeah white should be ok =]

Yeah usually by lunch time groups start thinning out or people move around and you can usually always switch run groups or run sessions in other run groups. And yes, the RX8s will likely be the slower of the cars, so as long as you space yourself out from the n00bs or as long as they point you by, shouldn't be an issue. I ran white last time here and it was fine, and I spent a lot less time lifting to let faster cars go by me.

That's my 4Th track event....2nd time on buttonwillow,but last time I was running Counter Clockwise....

this is gonna be exciting, the only time this many rotaries are out there is during seven stock.

There will be 5 run groups, so you will probably get five 20-25 minute sessions with lunch around 11:30. Aaron might email a schedule later today. As always, be at the track by 7:00 am and make sure you get to registration (I'll be there getting everyone registered) and the driver's meeting will be at 7:45.

hey guys, just wanted to say it was great meeting all of you yesterday! i had a blast! post up any pics or vids anyone might have, and i'll do the same.

We all having fun yesterday...most of us do really good on the track...sin we all beginner...Will post pic on soon...might hav some video on youtube as well...I'll let u guys know..

It was great fun yesterday and the best thing was everyone returned home safe. When that FC flipped during the first session I was afraid it was a bad omen.

I want to know my last session time! I know that my fast time of the day was on the last session.

I got 2.21 on my last session....I think it's not bad for first time on Buttonwillow.and I start to like this track...wanna go again...next time I'll try to hit 2.15...haha

Yeah we drove all the way back to SD last night, took about 4 hours, I was tired! Can't wait to see you guys at Streets next month! You guys are coming on Saturday or Sunday?
