View Full Version : what the heck is this???? Jhouse 11-06-2003, 04:51 PM can somebody tell me what these tacky nubs are? Racer X-8 11-06-2003, 04:54 PM headlight washers pop up outta them. I lost track of what counrties get them. Australia & European? Somebody help... Jhouse 11-06-2003, 04:54 PM thats just tacky Racer X-8 11-06-2003, 05:01 PM Well, this is a good example of classic .vs. romantic beauty. (Grab "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" to get a good lesson on the definition. The author admits in the preface that the book has little to do with Zen, nor motorcycle maintenance, but it's a must-read on my list :) ) Gord96BRG 11-06-2003, 05:18 PM Canada gets them as standard on all RX-8s. They work quite well at cleaning the lights when there's lots of slush and spray going around! Since there was already a thread arguing the merits of headlight washers that got nasty, I won't say anything else! :D Regards, Gordon P00Man 11-06-2003, 05:26 PM as has been said, theyre headlight washers i kinda wish we got em, but they are less flush than i had orignally thought, so now im not so sure ________ ZX14 VS HAYABUSA (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Which_bike_is_quicker_kawasaki_zx_-14_or_suzuki_hayabusa) Jhouse 11-06-2003, 05:31 PM well gord now that you mention slush, i guess i could have used those on my trip to whistler in my dakota. the snow and rain there is so damn thick you have to pull off the road and clean the frozen shit off the wipers and scrape the headlites jimbobjoe 11-08-2003, 06:15 AM Headlight washers are required in europe if the car has xenon headlights. chinx 11-08-2003, 09:14 AM really? do you know why that is? that's kinda weird klegg 11-08-2003, 03:47 PM I think it has something to do with heat building up on the dirt and blowing the bulb, but I could be wrong. |
