I sold my car over a year ago, and just stumbled across these in the garage. I bought these in July '06 from RB. These retail from RB for $95. I tried to install them and the connector on coil pack the did not seem correct. I simply couldn't get them to lock in place. The connector on the plug was fine, however. It was one day before I was taking the car to VIR, so I boxed them back up and put them on a shelf in the garage, where they've sat ever since.

I called RB and they said it was correct part, but they could not explain the fitment issues. I always intended to return them to RB, but I just forgot about them. They won't take them back 1.5 yrs later, however.

If a potential buyer is 100% certain these are not the correct wires (maybe they are RX-7 wires), please let me know via PM and I will remove this ad.

I know these are resister plug wires, which would be great to help suppress noise (what I am looking for at the moment) but that one connector does appear 'weird'.

I looked at the cross section here, and couldn't make heads or tails:

Update:

I spoke with Jim Tanner at RB this week and sent him the photos to compare against some new-in-box wires they pulled from the warehouse. He said that from the pics, they're identical. So...we have confirmation that these are the right parts from RB.

I'd love to get these out of the garage. Make me an offer.

 

They look fine to me.

If I didn't have Magnecores I would most likely get this set.
