I have a MP3 factory head unit. Does this ipod adapter plug into that and display song information on the display? and yet allow the MP3 HU work seperately?

 

I don't know to be entirely honest.

I never installed it, ask in the audio section of this forum.

Yes, it does plug in the back of the headunit perfectly (plug and play)
No, it doesn't display song info.
and you can always use the HU, radio, cd and whatever other option you have.

On a side note, if you want song info display you have to get the DICE i think (not sure)
