Getting my plates made up which will be the UK legal print but with a small change to the letter B to make it more 8 like.
Dealer advised me that plate size was 185 by 575 whilst apparently the standard saloon plate size is 110 by 520.
Can anybody confirm this?

Have a butchers at http://www.fancyplates.com/
Theres no legal size for plates, only legal spacing/size for the letters - so its whatever fits.
Height = 79mm
Width (except the figure 1 or letter l) = 50mm
Stroke = 14mm
Space between characters = 11mm
Space between group = 33mm
Top, bottom and side margins (minimum) = 11mm
Space between vertical lines = 19mm

Mine is making mine up with a larger space between the X and the B.
Is the RX8 plates size non-standard ie not 520 x110?

Hmm these look interesting :

I had mine made to 400mm wide and totally legal as the alpha-numerics are the correct size.
As you can see that I could have gone a lot smaller still if I hadn't had the euro mark.
