Hey guys, when i was in queens i had NO garage so all my tools were in a corner in the bsmt. Now that wifey has allowed me 1 side of her two car garage in CT i want to set it up nicely. The garage is not done, so it still needs to be painted. I am going to also paint the floor with the epoxy paint for protection. Want to organize my tools on the walls and in cabinets as well as the nuts and bolt.

So im asking for pictures of your garage so that i can get an idea of what i want to do . Thanks

Best Regards,

Jason

This is something I need to do as well. My garage is ....basically a mess! My wife told me recently that a friend of hers has a husband that installs cabinets and such. Recently, he had some "spares" and was selling them a good prices. These were very basic, and already painted white. I think they were being used to re-model some old gov't project type housing.

Anyhow, due to being overseas and not being able to communicate directly with the guy, I wasn't able to get the cabinets. But I'm still kicking around some ideas.

its a scam to scope out everyone's garage goods... OP is planning multiple theft tour 2008 after you all post the goods in your garage. :lol2:

I need a new garage as mine is a one car in size. I have been thinking about how I would finish it after watching a garage rehab show on the DIY tv network.
Lets just say, my vision of a garage would double as a 3 season entertainment area.

um? I hope your joking cuz thats not what im doing plus i cant tell where you live by a picture lol.

If you dont want to post a pic you dont have to, but if you have links to where to purchase good items at a reasonable price for garage storage that would help too.

After doing some research i am also considering garage floor tiles like these http://swisstrax.com/

Im not scamming, i been in the game for a minute check out my site and club lol.

Thanks

First thing - put in some electrical sockets - floor level and above - so you can get lights and tools to work without a lot of extension cords! Put in 3 more than you think you will need!

Consider an exhaust fan, a heater safe around fumes, and some decent lighting!

Don't store stuff in boxes and old junk on your side!

Put your special tools in locked places

Put tools you share with your wife in places easy for her to use and put away.

Check out this thread: http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=139380. BTW, there is something so wrong with "wifey has allowed me 1 side of her two car garage".

Thanks for the extra electrical sockets, now is the time for me to add a few =).

Dont have to worry about wifeys tools, she doesnt have any lol
