Does anybody know, if you can buy the dashboard unit that has the navigation - without replacing the ENTIRE dashboard? after seeing my friends Nav in his 8, I don't want to get one of those tomtom's or anything that has to attach to the window.

I',m looking for aftermarket websites where I could buy this from so I wouldn't have to go through a Mazda dealer...

I started doing my own project with in car pc and I bought the navigation display from a wrecked rx8. I changed the mazda's monitor with a xenarc 700 tsv which has vga input and 2 rca inputs.
Anw... i was thinking to part it out cause i gave up the project. If you are interested pm me.
