say your going at around idle speed on 2nd gear around a parking lot (or your driveway into a garage) looking for a spot. When you finally find one, given that you use the brakes to position yourself in the spot, do you pull in while ur still in 2nd going idle speed/using the clutch or do you go to first and use the clutch? sometimes when im pulling into my garage i just try to stay in idle speed in 2nd but i stall out. maybe its because my driveway is uphill?
thanks

If you're under 6 mph or so, shift into 1st.

I press the clutch in completely once I've started rolling into the spot, then put the car in first with the clutch still pressed in and if not enough momentum, slowley let off/ride the clutch until the car gets into the desired position.
If your stalling in second, try first for sure.

if you're parking and going uphill you should be going less then 6mph, use first gear.

No, no, no... you're doing it wrong. Here's an instructional video.

^Yeah he's right. Just go about 30+ mph. pop it in neutral pull the ebrake. Works every time :)
