Hey guys, I have a question regarding selling things on forums. I have a set of golf clubs I'd like to post for sale on a golf forum. I notice that on our forum, members always ask how much the item is shipped to their area code. Where do I go to find this out ? Also, I do not have nor do I want a paypal account. How should I handle payment / shipping ? Is it acceptable to have buyer send a check and ship the item after it clears my bank ? (Just want to make sure it's a pleasant experience for myself and buyer). Thanks!!

paypal is the easiest way.....most will not deal with a check or mo because it stinks of scam....people want protection and if you cant offer it then it will be hard to sell....you get shipping quotes by going to ups.com, weighing the goods, estimating on dimensions or actually boxing and measuring.....the ups screen has simple prompts

Both www.usps.com and www.ups.com will allow you to check shipping from one zip to another. True, you have to select certain things and fill out some info(weight, size of box, etc.), but it ain't rocket science. I do it all the time.
What are the clubs?
