Dear Li'l Sis, occasional very good Miata autocrosser and prez of her own mech engineer firm, just spurted out a whole dang human bean! The little bugger is as red as his Cherokee Uncle, and is already wiggling around as if trying to escape the stinkin' horsepistol.
It'll be a hard row to convince more familial types that hanging on to the Miata is a good idea. The motorsickle's already gone, and the old 4x4 and tire-smokin' Pontiac are getting sideways looks. I've found minivan brochures hidden between the pages of otherwise good books.
A kid growing up when an RX-8 is an old Mommy Car ought to have some grounding in what life was like before we lived in the Matrix, so I intend to hang onto my stripped Miata and battered Jeep for that purpose if no other.
