2. Only one 5 chance ticket to win PER PERSON! If your mom/dad/BF/GF/etc. wants to join the pool that is fine - but there must be ONE PERSON in the pool for EACH 5 chance ticket. (Lie to me if you have to )

3. Anyone who posts their 5 chance ticket is part of the pool. If ANY of the 5 chance tickets posted wins, all those people who are part of the pool will evenly split the winnings

4. The cash option will be the choice for payout in the event of a win.

5. A win, for our purposes, will be any ticket that matches the criteria for the top 3 prizes on the powerball website (grand prize and the two below it). The actual payout amount will be split evenly between all members of the pool.

6. Lessor prizes will be used to buy tickets for the next powerball drawing in the event that there is NO jackpot winner. If there is a jackpot winner - that is NOT part of this pool - any $100 prize(s) will be split between all those in the pool. Any of the smaller (generally single digit) winnings will be noted, and thrown in as extra tickets by me in the next pool.

8 women may hold $276M Powerball ticket





MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia Lottery worked Monday to confirm that eight women in the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department Tax Office hold a winning Powerball ticket worth $276.3 million.
Lottery spokeswoman Libby White said her agency has been in touch with the co-workers who claim to hold the winning ticket from Saturday's drawing.

The ticket must be validated before the eight can be declared winners, White said. The Lottery has scheduled a news conference for Tuesday afternoon.

Lottery Director John Musgrave talked Monday to Linda Fominko, the office's chief tax deputy, who is one of the eight.

"They have sought professional advice and seem to be well prepared," White said.


The women declined interviews Monday, quietly serving taxpayers as sheriff's deputies kept watch.

Saturday's jackpot was the seventh largest win in Powerball history.

Powerball is played in 29 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The record jackpot was $365 million won by eight workers at a Nebraska meatpacking plant in February 2006.
