Can you explain how it feels?

My tranny is starting to become notchy and I was thinking this SS would smooth it out.

 

Have you ever driven an s2000?? It basically shortens the thow a lot....and it feels very direct.....as in when you shift gears it is very quick, firm, and there is no confusion for gear selection.....you know when you are in gear and which gear you are in.

 

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a new wife?

 

It's not going to make it any smoother - if anything it will help you feel the notchiness more - and therefore enourage you to FIX it

 

how many miles on your 8? Ever flushed the transmission / differential fluids? If not, I'd probably recommend it if you have over 30,000 miles.

Best way I can describe the SS is that it feels like a bolt action rifle.

 

haha...its suprisingly more difficult then you would think

 

I recently replaced my tranny fluid with Royal Purlple 75w90 maxgear. It feels smoother when I am at a dead stop but not while I am driving.
