Can you explain how it feels?

My tranny is starting to become notchy and I was thinking this SS would smooth it out.

Have you ever driven an s2000?? It basically shortens the thow a lot....and it feels very direct.....as in when you shift gears it is very quick, firm, and there is no confusion for gear selection.....you know when you are in gear and which gear you are in.

Hey,

Like the title says I have a basically brand new AFE/ RP short shifter for sale. Its been on my car for 300km and my wife absolutely hates it...

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a new wife?

It's not going to make it any smoother - if anything it will help you feel the notchiness more - and therefore enourage you to FIX it ;) :spank:

how many miles on your 8? Ever flushed the transmission / differential fluids? If not, I'd probably recommend it if you have over 30,000 miles.

Best way I can describe the SS is that it feels like a bolt action rifle.

I recently replaced my tranny fluid with Royal Purlple 75w90 maxgear. It feels smoother when I am at a dead stop but not while I am driving.
