One of the things I really miss (besides my 8) is my bike which I got after my first deployment. The whole thing about the cool island winds as I stroll around...and the occational 80mph lean into a turn....(i dont do it when cars are around)...and even reaching 120mph when its just me, my bike and the road...

Quite honestly other than riding around the dealership parking lot I haven't ridden it yet - I need it lowered - my boyfriend has a Honda Blackbird, we thought it would be cool to have two rivals. The SV is killing me, I can't keep up on long distance runs with him. If the busa is too much I will look to trade for a Interceptor. The V motor seems to call to me....

I had a 05 Kawa 636 for two riding reasons but then I sold it cause I needed the cash. Right now I own a 1981 Yamaha GS 400S :)

been saving for an R6 that I am planning to panel and paint in WB to match the 8 :icon_tup:

pay cash for it, as I plan on taking a loan out following summer for an HD, being thats all my mom and dad ride and will make fun of me when tagging along with a crotch rocket.

I'm looking to get a bike here soon as soon I get the note a little lower on my 8.

I'm a big fan of the Honda 600rr I haven't actually owned one I just steal my buddies when they arn't looking. I'm also looking at the GSX-R 750.

The only trouble with bikes is I always ride to fast and I'm really trying to break that habit... cause I actually realize thats its a problem with me. By fast I mean I'm usually doing 100 or better on the interstate and well on regular roads slightly slower. So once I get that under control and can ride safe and more maturely I'll probably actually buy one.

I ride bikes totally different then how I drive... Am I the only one like this?

I'm the same way but I'll only let it loose on a road I'm familiar with.... the highest I've ever pegged on the little sv is 132 anyway. Nature of the beast... its an adrenaline rush leaning into a curve...

Yeah man I hear ya on that one... I don't open it up when there are a bunch of cars or people around, no sense in endangering innocent lives for my own pleasure. Its just that when theres the opportunity I'm on it like theres no tomorrow, Which I do understand that if you own a bike your gonna do that, but not every time to the extent that I tend to push it.

But yeah I'm an adrenaline junkie which is the reason I do it. Its not a good reason but its the honest to God truth.

This is me at Deals Gap last October. Unfortunantly that bike was stolen a couple of months ago. I now have a GSXR750. Gota take it to the Gap first chance I get.

Ride it to work almost every day. Gets a ton better gas milage than the 8 and keeps the miles off my baby. Also cost pennies to insure compared to the supersports.

Gonna get a Ninja 650R in a couple of years. Maybe a new 500 if they go fuel injected like they did with the 250.
