so my drop is a little better... i rotated my tires and loosened the hell outta the a arms and dropped the car down and lifted the rear and let it sit for about and and a half. instead of a three finger gap i now have two finger gap woo hoo. i think my endlinks are a to high which is forcing my sway up as well i need to re adjust those tom and maybe we will see more of a change....

I believe there was some talk about a little bit of understeer with progress front on full stiff. Can't recall off hand. I do like Progress a lot though - simply because of the adjustability and design. Tanabe's are also pretty good from what i hear. Not sure if they're adjustable however :dunno:

I agree with the stiffer rear = oversteer

I just can't agree with a full stiff front sway = more beneficial than a medium stiff setting

I have front progress sway and ap links. I wanted to know the beat for rear I was thinking progress sway. And there in Anaheim so I wouldn't have to wait on shipping

Go and test out the settings I just posted and report back. You'll notice the difference. :)

And mine is at full stiffness in front. I need to readjust my links though. The bar is pointed up slightly

I want you to test out full stiff then lowest stiff and see which one produces the most understeer.

My front tires are bald so I will once I get new tires.

Anyways, Paris, I say you go with a full set of Progress.

If you don't like the stiffness then change the settings to soft.

Paris, here are the specs for BOTH the Progress and Racing Beat front sway bars...

Progress: Bar Size is 32mm x .1875” wall thicknessand 3-Way Adjustable
Racing Beat: Bar Size is 32mm x .1875” wall thickness

They're exactly the same specs so get Progress. I recommend Progress because you can actually adjust it even though the specs between Racing Beat and Progress are the same.

Well, it more depends on how you drive, if you bring some weight up front to the turn till hit the apex, you will be fine

It's Team's discussion thread about using progress sways - apparently he originally set up full stiff on the front but changed shortly after along with others. Currently trying to check it out for full details but just giving a heads up.

cool, I use tanabe Sway bars
and I use the Megan coilovers
a lot better than just the Mazdaspeed shocks&springs

And there is a plus if you have the under braces and strut bars :rofl:

Dont waste your money on just lowering springs, save a bit more $ and get a set of coilovers
a set of Megan coilovers $700 shipped
coz it cost the same to install a set of coilovers and a set of lowering springs.....

and the coilovers are a lot better performance
+ you can adjust the height you want also soft and stiff

that 82 is a freakin beast my friend has it gutted he had trouble finding suspension for it but he found springs and struts for it his stock engine blew and he got a b18 outta a gsr integra it was a pretty rad swap went from carburrated econbox to a 1500lb rocet its so small we can drive it on sidewalks:yelrotflm
