Whatup peeples. So since I was flakes on sat. LOL. I went ahead and did the springs myself. Turns out they were right the whole time. Since the rears only fit rear and front only fit front shocks. So I spent like 3 fing hours for nothing. But bright sidelast night some punkass kid with a 93 330 Beamer with m badges :rofl: wanted to race me. I laughed in his face and shot flames. Haha he was like that's a cute 8 I would put my gf in that and I said it seems to be good enough for ur mom since she was in it last night. Hahaha anyways that's my weekend

unless these springs are radically different then the OEM's, it IS possible to accidentally switch them.
I saw this happen on xdeedubbx's car when we were returning it to stock.

robb: post pics. directly from the side of the car so I can see the wheel gaps. Don't take the picture from head height, kneel down a bit so I can get a clear picture of what's going on.

The springs are all in re correct place. I made sure cuz I compared the coils to reverands his progressive springs are in the rear and the others in the front. My rear wheel gap I'd less than a finger and front is three fingers. And there isn't a possibility that they are switched because the rears don't fit the bottom of the front shocks. I found that out the hard way after taking them all apart sat morning

I believe the Konis are more prone to a drop although shocks shouldn't affect the drop at all. I put them on because I wanted a firmer ride (no homo)

DMC: I have not sold any of the NF springs and honestly don't like them in concept. They may work just fine, but lowering a car over an inch without increasing spring rate seems like a recipie for bottoming out a lot. You're shortening the effective length of the shocks yet not compensating for that by stiffening the springs to better control body motions. I could be talking nonsense and I would encourage someone more educated to step in and tell me so if that's the case, but logically speaking from what I know about suspensions, the NF springs are a bad idea.

The GF springs wouldn't be too overwhelming for the OEM shocks I don't believe (yes, they'll wear the shocks faster, but not obscenely so), and they've gotten good reviews from the customers who have them on both OEM and aftermarket shocks. If you want Tanabe, that's the way I would go. And FWIW, I have a set of GF210s in stock. I can also get the NFs for the same price, if you'd like to give them a shot. They just don't sit well with me personally, no pun intended :).

and the stechs don't really drop much they just provide a very stiff spring rate. If I'm not mistaken they have the highest spring rates on the market. not coilover status but good enough to bang through some corners

whatup peeps. so i called tanabe today and turns out i most likely have the ns... so the drop is how its supposed to be. y they make it like that is beyond me.. i got a 350 bonus check today. what should i get know. i was thinking cobb what you guys think

if so, I think that's BS, I think NF and GF drop the same amount, NF just has a softer spring rate.

Were you talking about that? That pic makes the rear drop look a lot more than 1.2... Front looks like a 1.4" drop in that picture... Did blamerobb put any pics up

Ya I called Tanabe and they went through all the possible mishaps with me. I installed correctly. He's like I think u have NF cuz it slams in the rear and the front not really. Idk y it's like that. Soooo gay. And it's weird cuz the front springs are shorter than the rears. Go figure
