Well, if you have never removed the bumper before then I would say about 10-15 minutes for the bumper, another 15 minutes figuring out where all the bolts, screws, and grommets are all located for the entire VFAD system, and another 10-15 minutes to reassemble.

no they claimed it wasnt them when they just put my rims and tires on like less than 2 weeks ago, so i bought the stud for 8 dollars took it home and replaced it it wasnt difficult, haha dealers like we can do it for 450 dollars im like no i only want the part

Less Air at higher alttitude = Your lungs work harder, thats why when I used to play soccer I would Run/Climb mountains...:yesnod: works out the lungs!

I think the whole process took us about 4 hours. The reason why it took so long was because we also painted his heat shield and calipers. We had to wait till they were dry before actually working on them. :)

Yeah, I took out the entire strut and checked the assembly and everything seemed fine - I also made sure to properly preload the strut before tightening the A-Arm bolts. :dunno:

this happened when we "un-modded" a certain someone's VR a few months back before he sold it.
We accidentally put the damn springs on wrong and we just couldn't get the stupid thing to settle.
The following weekend Ngo took another shot at it, swapped around the springs and BINGO, it was fixed.

It's a simple mistake, fortunately Atilla is a PRO at suspension stuff and LOOOVESSS doing this stuff. (remmeber to reward him with plenty of cerveza)

They are high performance and are manufactured and supplied to R1 Concepts Inc. by Centric. R1 Concepts then drill and slot them. They are lighter than OEM and looks better. :)

spring rates between the front and back differ, as do spring height. springs that drop 1 inch that are made for the front probably won't act the same in the back and vice versa.

perhaps maybe its just supposed to be like that! :dunno:

just count the number of coils on the front vs. the back and PM someone with the same springs and compare. easier than redoing it

It's nearing 60k miles and the brakes were never changed even once... and God knows how long it's been since the oil was changed. The spark plugs, air filter, coolant, and pretty much everything that requires maintenance haven't been touched until I got the car... That tells you how bad the previous owner was... well, at least I got it for cheap. :)

well i guess that's what makes rx-8 "unreliable" they arent idiot proof like camry's are!

Yep, you can go 30k miles without an oil change and 60k without changing out spark plugs and still get fantastic gas mileage.

I can't wait to get another 8! It must be white though. :)

I want to find a cheap inexpensive white 8, it doesn't matter what mileage is on it (I do my own rebuilds :) ) so that I still have left over cash for mods.

My first mod will be springs (coilovers in the future).
Second mod will be CF hood and trunk.
Third would be to vinyl my roof black to get that Panda look.
And then finally rims, and I'll hold off for a bit before I start on the performance mods.
