It was actually inside my college.. I didn't have my parking permit decal.. And I also parked backwards. It needs to be parked head-in. Sucks that I was the only guy around the parking lot that got a ticket. Been going to the school for a year and a half.. Never got the decal, until today.. Because next time it happens, tow..

I don't know what's happening with me now.. I drove the 8 for about a year and a month without any offenses.. And since December, I've had 3 encounters with some enforcement.

Speeding ticket, the red light warning, and now this.. What's next? Jail..?

I guess my 8 ain't what it used to be.. Too sexy to get caught. I need to seriously watch out..

Can't be much of a hit. My parking ticket at school the other day was just $20 for parking in faculty. Really didn't need the walk.

 

^ Yea, It's around 10-20$ -- But I don't care about the cost.. Just care about getting a ticket. Weird that they all come one after another.

And whitebeau, I tried taking it to court but ended up paying for it.. $226 I think it was. And had to take that traffic school class.

Seriously, take the ticket to court, pay the 300 to get a traffic lawyer to get it dropped.. .better then 3-6 years of insurance premiums going up. oh and hit up Leesha for wickan counsel.....

 

Could be worse. I got a ticket for a 80 in a 55 this morning. 6 points and a mandatory court appearance. Damn unmarked cars...

RotaryP7 you need to be careful around here, the cops profile you. It's sad but true, I go down 117 all the time to get to my friends house and when im in my jetta i can go 55-60 in a 40 and no cop will bother me, but if I go 50 in the RX-8 i get pulled over and get a ticket.

Send me a PM i will give you the number of my lawyer, hes been my lawyer for 5 years and before that he was my basketball coach. He's gotten me out of every ticket I've ever had including a reckless driving case. (Not guilty, thank you very much, too much evidence proving i was innocent.)

of course you still have to pay court fees which will always go up to 200, but you get no points on your record and no traffic school.

My highest speeding ticket was 120 in a 70, that was in the jetta.

 

back in high school, i got a parking ticket from a city officer for not displaying my decal.... but at least it was only 40 bucks and didn't go on record.

 

parking tickets are no big deal, but i was refferring to his speeding ticket.

Oh and how did you get a parking ticket in MDC? I went there for 3 semesters and never got a parking ticket, I never bought a decal cause i didnt want to put it on my car. (I had a 94 celica at the time and the jetta the last semester i went there.) I'm going back after the summer so maybe i will see you there.

 

Yea, I paid the speeding ticket already. I had to no choice but to pay and take the traffic school class. I couldn't find any decent lawyers in Miami for some reason.. That was in December though. I made a thread about it.

I'm asking myself the same thing though.. Why a parking ticket? It's bull cause the car next to me didn't have a decal either and he/she got there at the same time as I did. But of course, they get attracted by the bright red sexy beast. I thought we had warnings? Cause I never got any type of parking notice until now.. But I had 2 offensives, parking backwards and no decal.

And lmao, I hate that damn decal! It looks wack, seriously.. This semester.. The color is some dark pink or something.. I don't want to put it on my 8, I actually now have it on the rear window, inside the car.

$10-20 for a parking ticket!!!!! That is a bargain!!!!! I had $300 in Parking tickets at A&M when I was dating a girl there at a min. of $35 a ticket, and at my university (Rice) each parking ticket was a minimum of $40.

 

Man, I got a ticket for my front liscense plate being down *since I have it in my front window* so I could actually defrost my windshield...100 dollars!? Man, I'm glad my ticket is more expensive than the "Improper Child Restraints" ticket...
