i think thats a very reasonable weight for the rx-8 4 doors and just a lil more then 100 lbs more then the rx-7 and i like the "300 lbs lighter then the Z" quote. I'm very happy with that number.

sure, the LAST RX-7 was 2800, but the FC was only 2600, until popularity and options got their way... :( let's hope that the 8 can keep the mass off...
