Cool.....will be watching.........small beachside town, nuttin to the East but dark ocean. and we just got a front through, so should be clear.

Here's an old shot that I took a few years ago. Not sized properly for display on this site, but........oh well..........and there was no color enhancment.

I'll be at our club's observatory watching it.

It will last for a couple of hours, check it out if the weather in your area cooperates.

Extreme East Coast of Florida....8:50pm, just one little smidgen is gone now on lower left, so it just started here......patience!


Nice clear night on the beach and about 60 degrees!

Doubt it will have the color of the one in my first post above...........taken several years ago, but will be watching anyway!

Dangit... I live on a golf course so I figured, perfect place to go get up the camera.. Well I went out there and there some local teens out there watching it, I cant see them but I hear them. Im affraid of the dark so no way Im going out there by myself!!

I grabbed my Sharpei, she wil do.. The Yorkie just was not cutting it.. My dad called and said he sees the red clear as day.. I still dont.. Driving out to the beach to see if I can see anything... I will post pics if anything exciting happens... Leesha, got the video camera with me, LOL.

at about 10:51 (EST) is the best time supposedly to see the turquoise color, and the end of the red totality

Not sure if you are asking me or not but I used a Fuji FinePix S9100 on night mode with the lens stretched out to 300mm. To damn cold out there to stay out and take pictures though.
