Run - AutoZone is clearing out Havoline @ 99 cents/quart - not restocking it

I just bought a ton of both 5W-20 and 5W-30 Havoline at AutoZone for 99 cents a quart, because they're not going to be restocking it.

As far as dino oil is concerned, I like Havoline more than any other. In fact, it's better than some synthetic, from what I've read.

It probably has the most moly of any oil I've read any analysis on.

Does anyone know what the deal is with AutoZone not restocking this?

That's cool, but I change my own oil in about 10 minutes, get the exact oil I want, use a WIX oil filter, and my total cost is about $11.

Plus, it's cathartic. It cleanses the soul.

It is hard to get rid of the used oil. So I don't bother anymore.

Yep, very easy on these cars. I always put in good oil and run the higher end filter. Very easy to change the oil on these cars.

I won't bring it to the dealer because I've heard way to many nightmare stories about over or underfillings, and others about not tightning the drain plug.

You don't know anyone with a waste oil heater? The store has to take back the used oil by law too.

Yeah, I can take my used oil to the city recycling center, which is only 6 miles away.

Here's an interesting analysis of Havoline I founf on the Acura TL forums:

*Special thanks to Mark Mathys of Butler-Machinery for adding this sample to the Bobistheoilguy.com Virgin Oil Analysis Library! A trace of anti-freeze in normal to find in a Virgin Oil Analysis. Nearly all have it.
