Hi everyone,
Please help a poor college student from making a trip to the Dealership if not needed. I washed the outside of my RX on Saturday, cause for the first time in a month, the sun came out. Later that night I noticed the my Radio Display was out. It appears the backlight is one but no LED display. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have this same problem. the problem is the mother board is all messed up. the only thing to do is take it to the dealership and they will replace it under warranty and most likely give you one out of a newer model. please feel free to ask me any more question since ive been through the same problem

Interesting, I've had a similar problem. I've had mine for about a year and a half now with no issues.

I had an airbag warning light and took it in. They said they needed to replace some component, I didn't ask where. I'm going to assume that they removed some of the components for the stereo.

First thing I noticed was the display going wonky when I turned right. First it was when I aggressively turned right, then when I turned right at all. Then it would randomly fritz out and display nothing, then sweep, then display every light. This last stage was followed shortly after by the stereo completely dying along with the air conditioner.

I can turn the a/c on, but it is stuck at full hot. It's going in to the dealer on Tuesday. Weird stuff.

Allow me a slight rephrase. LED display started, radio and a/c joined in.

 

Well, we took it to the dealer this morning and they confirmed the LED display was out and the dealer ordered a new board which will arrive in 2~10 days. Then back to the dealer to have it installed. Thanks for everyones help and advice.
