Just wondering if people have had experience with RCA Interconnects.

I'm a bit gun-shy of spending $120+ for Monster XLN401-4C when I can buy StreetWires equivalents for much less.

I am "interconnecting" what amounts to a preamp level signal (stepped down by converter), running it away from the amp power run and through the middle console.

Are top o' the line Monster RCA's necessary for a respectable system (most definitely not competition material)

You don't have to spend big money for good cables.

Look for nice solid construction. Nothing fancy.
