OMFG! you guys would believe what happend to me and my cousin yesterday on the way back from gettin my haircut! i was drivin down edinger headed home, and this street is only a 2 lane street right? sooo theres this car a lil ahead and next to me, next thing i know here comes this solara flyin in and tailgating the person next to me, then i started noticing this ladies merging in my lane!:Eyecrazy: while at the same time im honkin and tryin to speed up this lady literally made me get half way my lane and half the other oncoming traffic!!!:Eyecrazy: so being courteous i down shift and slow down and let her pass! F*CK i swear, this lady was in a rush to catch a red light!! and in doin that she riskd my life and her life, and not to mention her little sons life, who was sitting passenger.....so we get to the red light and i roll my window down and tell WTF!!! she rolls down her window and says that im blind for not seeing her!!! can you believe that!!! how can i see her blinker if shes next to me!!!!so we go at it and i call are a dumbf*ck broad and spit on her peice of sh*t car!!f*ck i swear, my car is to nice to be scratched!....................that wasnt the only time yesterday! on the way to the bar, this piece of crap mr2 cut me right off almost taking my bumber off!!!!!:Eyecrazy: :rant: this guys didnt even bother to use his blinker, so i got mad and waited to catch a red light with this guy, as we get there i roll my window down and me and my cousin just stare this guy down, bastard rolls up his window and acts like nothing happend!!!! WTF!!!! sooooo i HAWK up a big one and let his car have it!!!!! right on his window!!! a nice reminder for him, never to cut off an 8 thats soooo much sexier than his car......i swear...for any of you guys that live in here in socal, just drive extra slow one day and notice all the road rage that happens around you, and just be thankful that your car has the performance needed to get around these nasty bastards when needed!..

I like to encourage people like this to pass me, and then drive even more recklessly, in the hopes the police will see them instead of me.

I refuse to get into verbal altercations with other motorists, because you never know the caliber of the weapon they have sitting in their glove box.

Around here defensive driving is not a catch phrase - it's an apt description of what is necessary in order to dodge the idiots who are aiming for your car.

Next time just let it go. There's currently a surplus of idiots, and if you get riled up every time one of them does something idiotic you're not going to have a lot of spare time to tend to your ulcer. Plus, as Socket said, they're a great diversion for any coppers up ahead.

usually i let things go, but yesterday was nuts, seriously, being in an accident before and having my car totaled, i think the outcome of these two wouldve been worse.

but then again whos really observing us??....thats the most i would do, and if you really think about it, it isnt much. spitting on her car doesnt come close to what wouldve happend for her being wreckless....i almost died once and i dont wanna be there again.

I have a very good idea. You aren't the only one who's nearly been run off the road by an idiot before. Just the other day I had an idiot in an econobox try and change lanes into me without even bothering to look up from his cell phone conversation. I slammed on the brakes, laid on the horn and that was the end of it.

What do you hope to accomplish by yelling at these people? Do you think they will magically gain driving skills or manners because you called them the result of a drug induced backseat gropefest, and spit on their window?

Hot anger only hurts yourself. In the form of ulcers, or in the form of someone with a gun who doesn't take kindly to you yelling at them. Or maybe someone in a beater is more then willing to trade paint with you. Or they could cut you off, slam on the brakes so you rear end them, then sue you for whiplash.

I'm sure its wonderfully cathartic to spit on someones car, and I wont deny I have times when I REALLY want to, but all it does is escalate the situation needlessly.

The OP is lucky. Spitting on someones car is ILLEGAL in California.

ANYTHING coming from one car, and making contact with another car, is a HUGE ticket. Especially if it causes an accident.



But I gotta agree with him. The people who live in orange county all hate eachother, and it shows in their driving.

One time I was with some friends and we had a couple of teenage boys driving next to us giving us a hard time... We had a super soaker in the car so one friend said he would pee in it cause we had no water... That was too gross but we did have a sweet tea in the car!! So we filled it up and did a drive by on them.. There window was down and Im sure that once that tea dried on there windshield it was a sticky mess... That was a long time ago and I dount I would ever do something like that again.
