my bad I just got a new car and the exact same part is called a side strake, I definatly knew they were called side aero flares just a mistype. I'll see if i can change the title.

It looks like two boxes stacked on top of each other to me.

 

Koni's come in pairs so the two boxes = 4 shocks...

Good-win-racing sells them separately but said they come in pairs normally.
