Paramount, Calif. – (February 4, 2008). VeilSide® USA Inc. renewed its client-part replacement program for 2008. The program features an unprecedented replacement incentive for all original, registered owners of VeilSide parts. Said owners can option to purchase an exact replacement aero part for half-off of the Manufactured-Sales-Retail-Price (MSRP).



Each order that ships out from VeilSide USA includes a product registration card allowing the owner to qualify for the protection plan. Once the card is completed and returned the purchased product is registered. If the registered user damages a part, a replacement can be issued using their 50-percent MSRP credit by calling VeilSide USA directly.



Owners, who did not register their parts, can contact VeilSide USA with a copy of an invoice, proof of purchase or packing slip to receive the registration card. "We hope that our commitment to service and replacement programs will help these consumers reconsider buying imitation VeilSide parts. The program is truly unique and it addresses our commitment to quality and service for our customers," said Raymond Fong, vice president of Sales and Marketing.



"It's very common for our sales team to learn of horror stories from consumers who have chosen to purchase copies instead of authentic VeilSide. Replica parts are poorly made and often require hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars in bodywork and preparation before painting. Unfortunately, copies do not carry any kind of support and the consumer will wind up spending more money repairing these copies than it would have cost to buy an original."

Now this is something really nice to see....I love a company that stands behind its products....i just wish i had an invoice or anything but unfortunately i bought it used.....just a thought this might be better seen in the aftermarket body kit section

too bad the auto body shop that did my car had my invoice and probably destroyed it after i threatened to sue them :banghead:

o no way not kenny! the shop that handled my car after my accident. kenny found things wrong with the car when i brought it into him for the kit. too many problems to list, i'll tell you at the next meet if you want

wow, if veilside made any kits that i'd like, i'd definitely buy from them.

they need a body kit that is not the d1-gt. soo passe. :/

I made a purchased from them last year around Oct. I filled out the card , should I have received something from them or not ?

they need an rx8club discount for their hood...

For the warranty card, we get them here, but you don't get anything sent back to you. We should have your information in the computer database as well as the physical card.

I paid around $900 back then, so say I want the carbon fiber now, can I say mine is cracked and paid the different and get the cf one?

Unfortunatly we can't do that.
You can only get the SAME part as you already have.

I've noticed a couple of things some site lise the veilside d1-gt kit and it's pretty pricey, and those some sites will list the "invader" style body kit which from all pictures looks identical for usually half the price... any reason as to why veilside has such a mark-up?

That is like asking why Chinatown has dvds for $5. Veilside has over head to take care of they have to Design the kit then market and then they have to build it with superb quality. Any douchebag can rip it off and sell it for cheaper because they did none of the work.

some parts are but some parts need some fitting.....the skirts are pretty spot on and the lip is spot on....the bumpers may need some tweaking.....hood is pretty spot on too

with any fiberglass part, there is going to be SOME type of work that needs to be done. There is no way that each bumper (wing, skirt, hood, etc.) will come out EXACTLY the same as every other one.

But, ours has a reputation of being very simple to work with.

why are you shaking your head?.....there are 2 kits i know of in the world that are perfect for the 8 and that is MS and Kenstyle....both are sold at Mazda dealers overseas.....otherwise you will be lucky if you get a simple bolt on kit from any one....period
