Well, I suppose with such low profile tyres it had to happen sooner or later. I scratched the back left rim of my car on a curb in a shopping centre. Urgh. At least the brake dust will hide the scratches.

I scraped my right rear wheel the night I drove the car home from the dealer. Hit a curb. I felt terrible about it. Oh well, at least I got my first scratch out of the way early.... I was in denial about it for a little while. It's about a half-inch scrape right at the edge of the wheel. Anyway, I had some touch-up paint leftover from my previous car, which was silver. I just put some of that on there and decided not to worry about it. I took it to my friendly Holden dealer :eek: who I have contacts with, as they have a gun detailer there. He spent about 20 minutes, very carefully sanding out the scratches with finer and finer grades of wet 'n dry. Then masked up the tyre and brakes, and sprayed some matching silver paint, then some clearcoat. No one can tell. :cool: Oh yeah - I noticed yours L&L ;) I didn't want to say anything.
