I had my car for 6 weeks now and got my first scratch. Hit a tumbleweed at 80 mph! left a scratch in the clear coat.
Was anyone here as upset me with their first scratch?

If you want to see someone turn into "The Hulk", just talk to me about how my car was attacked by morons with eggs.

Apart from the cost aspect. I've ended up reasonably happy in knowing that I've found a repairer that can match the velocity red perfectly ... something that I was very nervous about before the episode.

someone egged your Rx8? If so, I know your pain! Some fools egged my Silver 8 twice in the past couple of months. Hasnt happened for about a month now. Had to wash the car asap right after tho. Bastards

I got eggs thrown at me but the mo0k did'nt have a good aim. Thank God.

i was driving to ocean city, nj today and some idiot decided to pass the guy in front of me on the right as the lanes changed from 2 lanes to 1 lane. he was kicking up dirt and pebbles and i heard a metallic sound on my passneger side but i checked that side and no stone chip. must have been underneath the car or maybe the wheel well. my wife and kids think i'm nuts when it comes to worrying about scratches on my 8.
