Thanks pyrospawn! TitaniumRX8MD...must have been on the same truck like I thought.......by 7 pm I had figured my feeling was wrong but out of amazement the phone rang at 9pm and then I knew!! The only obstacle is my current car(02 protege 5)......not sure how it will pan out......if it's not very good, my hubby will make me wait on the RX 8.....now that would stink!!! Stay tuned and keep fingers crossed for me!!

Hi everyone.....well, she's in my driveway. I cannot believe it!! It almost did not happen cuz they were shooting me low on my trade(which I knew would happen) and then they would not budge on the new car price. Also, the first few #'s they gave in the financing dept. sucked. So, I was about in tears(I was holding them back), when I got them to give more on my trade(still not enough)and call a few more banks. My husband deserves the best husband award.....he allowed it to happen by putting more $ down(way more than I expected) and agreeing to get the car. He was not enthused at all with the whole thing but did it all for me. See, I am a stay at home Mom and I had a nice new car before the 8. I will post pics soon. It's rainy etc. Thanks all, I am one of you now!!!

I got mine on Halloween too. I decided to forget about the nav system and got the same car I had ordered minus the nav a month and half sooner. The wait was killing me. Proud new owner of a Brilliant Black GT 6MT/ black/red interior with appearance package, rotary accents, rear spoiler. Now it's time to accessorize. Hope to get strakes and door sills soon.

Man, I wish it would stop raining so I can post some pictures...suppose to rain all week. I did not drive it today and I can't wait to drive it tomorrow.....went to Bears game all day and stuff. Did not want to leave it all day in a parking lot. For now I guess I am over protective!! Ok...watch for photo's soon! Thanks all!

You are a stay at home mum.... you are getting a matching baby seat? or the children all grown up?

I have seen a matching child seat in the forum before... :) My wife want that one but I told her to have sex first cause we have no children yet :D:D

Takashi....yes, I am a stay at home Mom....work 2 days a week for the hubby. Lucky me to get a beautiful car. Finally stopped raining...will take some pics and post soon. I have almost a matching seat. My husband accidentally picked out the wrong seat.....it was a great price so I will stick with it, but it's a sporty looking child seat. I hope to get strakes put on in the springtime. I am taking The car back to dealer for them to buff out the whole car.....discovered all kinds of little dots or overspray from something in many areas on my car....very miniscule but enough for me to notice. Not sure what it is.....not sure it's paint....almost looks like tiny specs of grease or something that has dried up....brownish in color. Any ideas on what this could be? If I touch the car I can feel where the paint is not ultra smooth and where it is spotty.

I'd be inclined to try to remove the spots with some kind of solvent, such as Ziebart sells in the little blue bottle to remove excess undercoat dribblings. If it is a petroleum or grease material, this will remove it without abrading anything. Harmless to paint. You hate to buff paint unnecessarily. Godd luck!

Well, this is what the dealer said they would do...so I am assuming they know what is best.....hmmmm....or is that a wrong assumption? All I have to say is the paint job better last. Thanks
